Day 15: One Day Closer to Surgery

Vivienne had a quiet and restful day. She continues to do well on the conventional ventilator and her Dopamine dosage was reduced to 6. Mom and dad both got to change diapers today (Dave's first!). We're feeling more confident in our ability to assist with care - all of those tubes and wires can be intimidating. 

Viv's surgeon stopped by to let us know that she's on the schedule for Monday or Wednesday of next week. She stressed that things could change, but she seemed really pleased with Viv's progress. Fingers crossed!

In other news, it's been exactly one month since we relocated (and we probably have a few more months ahead of us). We miss our house and our routine, but we're so thankful for every day with our baby girl.
